Call for applications for appointments to Chiropractic Board; health performance and professional standards hearings panels and advisors.

The National Board is seeking applications from experienced practising chiropractors with a minimum of three years current and recent experience, interested in being included on a List of Approved Persons for appointment to panels and/or the Chiropractic Advisor List, to assist the National Board in its primary role of protecting the public.

List of Approved Persons:

The National Board is seeking general registered chiropractors with a minimum of three years current and recent practice experience for the list of approved persons, who reside in the following states and territories:

Such panels consist of members chosen from a National Board approved list of persons.

In selecting candidates for appointment by the Board, the criteria listed in the Application Guide found on the Panel member recruitment page on the AHPRA website will be taken into account.

Chiropractic Advisor List:

The National Board is also seeking to expand the Chiropractic Advisor List, seeking applications from registered chiropractors who may be approached to assist in other activities such as assisting in performance assessments for practitioners, or providing an opinion in a focused area of practice, who reside in the following states and territories:

  • ACT
  • New South Wales
  • Northern Territory
  • Queensland
  • South Australia
  • Tasmania
  • Victoria
  • Western Australia

All appointments are for up to three years, with eligibility for re-appointment, and are expected to commence in mid to late 2014.

Applications will be assessed by a Selection Advisory Panel for appointable positions.
