The shared Code of conduct (the code) applies to registered health practitioners in 12 professions. The code sets out National Boards’ expectations of professional behaviour and conduct for practitioners registered in these professions. By defining these expectations, the code supports good patient care within an ethical framework, helping to keep the public safe.
Practitioners have a professional responsibility to be familiar with and to apply the code.
